What we collect
Account details, your learning profile (goals, role, experience, time, accessibility needs, language), diagnostic responses, lesson progress, instructor conversations, submissions and grades, office-hour bookings, and technical logs with personal information redacted.
Why we collect it
To build and review your personalised course, teach and grade your work, schedule office hours, keep you informed, and keep the service secure. Each onboarding question explains its purpose in the product.
AI processing
Curriculum generation, teaching, open-ended grading and relevance analysis run on server-side AI providers configured by ElephantScale. Uploaded files and messages are treated as data, never as instructions to the system. We record the model and prompt version used so outputs can be investigated.
Your controls
Change your profile any time; view and delete the instructor's retained learning memory; set notification digests, quiet hours and unsubscribe; request a data export; delete your account (14-day grace period, then secure deletion with anonymised integrity records retained).
Retention
Configurable per data category by ElephantScale staff. Historic submissions and grades are retained in anonymised form to preserve assessment integrity.
Sharing and processors
Hosting, database, email, billing and AI providers as configured. No sale of personal data. Recordings of office hours happen only with your consent and are access-controlled.
